How will the master online special education degree equip those teachers who want to make a difference? The answer is straightforward – in the USA, currently there are over 6 million students who have enrolled in these special programs.
While schools – public and private, preschool to secondary – struggle to identify and deploy qualified teachers to address these 6 million students, nobody knows for sure how many million students more need to be identified for special classes, so that they can better cope with their learning disabilities, or physical and mental handicaps.
At the same time, successive Federal and State Administrations since 1975 have sharpened their focus on creating complex systems for identifying, formulating, and delivering a highly-individualized education program to each eligible student. The cornerstone of these legislations, programs, and licensures is the highly qualified teacher.
A Master’s degree in has thus become a must for aspiring teachers, and with many of them already employed as regular teachers, master online special education degree has become the most convenient route to this profession.
What It Involves
Master online special education degree involves distance or online learning that leads to graduate degrees like Master of Education (MEd), Master of Science (MS), Master of Arts (MA), or any of the specialized master’s degrees in various sub-domains, such as dyslexia, attention-deficit, etc.
Master online special education degree courses will last upwards of one year, and might involve significant on-the-job training under an experienced special educator. Most states also require that aspiring teachers pass a licensure test, before starting their career.
Why Special Education?
On an average, teachers in this field don’t earn much more than regular teachers. On the other hand, the job responsibilities of these teachers are more demanding – they can even include defending oneself and the school’s program in court, if dissatisfied parents of challenged students opt for litigation, as has happened numerous times in various states!
Still, about 450,000 educators have opted for and currently work as special education teachers in the country. What must be the attraction?
Teachers in this field are very unlikely to encounter unemployment in the short-term or long-term. But that alone can’t be the lure to enter this profession, where sheer hard work, difficult coordination between many, and uncertain outcomes from the part of students, make life stressful.
The answer can, hence, be only that there are hundreds of thousands of teachers out there who want to make a genuine difference to the lives of these challenged students. And it is indeed a huge difference. According to estimates, four in five challenged students used to be excluded from the US education system, as near as three decades back. Official figures, tabulated around 1975, put this at 1 million students, who missed the bus.
Why Master Special Education Degree?
Teachers in this specialty are still in significant short supply. Because of this, some states have still not made it mandatory for them to have a master’s degree. In such states, bachelor’s degree holders appear for professional licensure exams and work as special education teachers.
However, more and more states are opting for a master’s degree as the minimum qualification, for a simple reason. A special ed. teacher should be capable of interacting effectively with professionals like psychologists, disability therapists, educational evaluators, educational lawyers, supervisors from the school district, regular teachers, and, of course parents of disabled students. It takes a master’s degree holder with significant on-the-job training to confidently undertake this.
Master’s degree holders in this field have also another booming avenue – they can work as instructors in colleges and universities that deliver specialized programs, and these institutions are rapidly increasing in number. They are also eligible to work as supervisors or administrators in the school districts.
A small but significant proportion of educators go for ‘ degree, so as to progress to doctoral degrees, which are also offered by more and more universities, these days.
Lastly, though special education teachers don’t earn much more than regular teachers on an average, the highest salaries drawn by special educators exceed the highest salaries drawn by regular teachers by ,000 to ,000. It goes without saying that almost all of those highest paid special educators are master’s degree holders.

Those planning to take a master’s degree in this field are almost always regular teachers who have developed a fascination for this field. Secondly, only an exceptionally good regular teacher can hope to be an effective teacher of special students. In the early 1800′s this Possibles Pouch was just a flat rectangular bag with a flap which had to be carried under the arm or packed into the saddle bag. As things progressed Mountain Men or Fur Trappers fitted a strap so the bag could be carried over the shoulder. These bags would contain pipe tobacco, medicine and other essential items that these men may need to use on their outings into the wilds.
Various Possibles Pouches were created by the Native Indian Women for carrying a variety of items. These Possibles Pouches would come in several sizes and would be decorated in beads with a strap.
The Possibles Pouch has evolved into something which is quite different from the early days because now they come fitted with belt loops and are carried on the belt. Primarily these have been adopted by the Bushcraft Fraternity because of the need and requirement to carry extra items to aid their survival in the wilds.
Some of the items carried in the Possibles Pouch are First Aid Kit, Fire Making Kit, Cutting Tools and Cordage.
This list is endless and each person have their own specific items that they would carry in these Possibles Pouches. Normally these bags are constructed in leather either by Wet Forming or using the the Box Wall Construction method and are stitched together with Linen Thread for the more authentic look.
The use of Linen Thread does have it’s drawbacks as the stitching will rot in time especially if the Possibles Pouch constantly gets wet. Modern threads such as Tiger Thread are more widely used because this is a man made fibre and will not rot over time. Another material to use is Artificial Sinew which is made up of several strands and these are split down to be used to stitch the Possibles Pouch together and again this does not rot.
Closures for the Possibles Pouch again vary from toggles made from Antler or Buffalo Horn to Brass Sam Brown Studs through to Buckles or a simple leather Thong which passes through holes to keep the flap closed and the item inside dry.

Stop Loss Order for Day Trading
What is Stop Loss Order?
Stop loss order is an order to close position if/when losses reaches a particular point. In other words this is an order by which you can decide the maximum loss that you are ready to accept. Here we are going to discuss only Stop Loss Order regarding Day Trading, but the same principle can be used for Swing Trading or Long Term Trading.
Following Example can explain the point.
If u have placed a buy order at 100. You need not place a stop loss order till your trade gets executed. Once your trade gets executed, you have to place another order for Stop Loss.
Now lets assume that CMP(Current Market Price) is 100.50.
Stop Loss Order should be like this
Type= Sell
Quantity = Quantity you have got (received).
Price=99.40
Trigger price =99.50
Note: Trigger price is the price at which your order gets triggered (fired). Till then it’s on hold.
So in our example If CMP falls from 100.50 to 99.55 nothing will happen but at 99.50 your order (Stop Loss) for sell will get executed at a price of 99.40 so your loss would be limited to 0.60 (100-99.40) only.
Additional Points:
Percentage Of Stop Loss
For day trading stop loss of 1-2% max is recommended. Some traders like me use 0.5% stops, which is what I have explained (100-0.5%*100=99.5). You have to decide the % according to your experience & confidence.
If you don’t use stop loss order the price can go down by 5% or even 20% & you won’t be able to do much then, hence for every trade without fail you should use stop loss order.
A warning, don’t ever think that just because you have placed stop loss order, you are 100 % safe. That’s not the case even after a stop loss order you can suffer huge loss. Surprised? See how.
In the above example if the your stop loss order gets triggered at 99.50 for 99.40 but there is no buyer at 99.40 so the order will get triggered but not executed till there is some one ready to buy at 99.40. In mean while some one else has put a sell order at 99.30, now you are at number two still waiting, then if some one puts a sell order at 99.10 you are at number three & hence your order may left behind while others keep putting orders at less than your order & you may wonder why my stop loss order did not get execute!!!!!!!!!!!
Solution for above problem is as follows.
The gap between trigger price & price is important. If you want your stop loss order to be more secured, increase the gap.( Gap between Trigger Price & Price). i.e. triggered price at 99.50 & price 99.10(instead of 99.40). You should change the gap depending upon the share you trade. More volatile stocks require big Gap while for slow movers small Gap is enough. You can decide the Gap on the basis of difference between best buy & best sell (bid /ask) in second window.
Stop Loss For Shorting
For shorting that is selling first & then buying, the stop loss order has to be reversed as follows.
If you have shorted at 100(CMP=99.50)
Stop Loss order should look like this
Type =Buy
Quantity = Quantity you have shorted
Price=100.60
Trigger Price =100.50
Cancel/Modify Stop Loss Order
The most important thing if your stop loss does not get hit & you earn profit by squaring of your position; do not forget to cancel the stop loss order. Yes I repeat do not forget to cancel the stop loss order. Other better option is that you can modify your stop loss order as Trailing Stop till the execution. (I do this as I forget to cancel the stop loss order.)
Following example can explain how you can do this.
Your Stop Loss for first example was 99.50 for 99.40, right? Now if the CMP has gone up from 100.50 to 102.20, you can modify your stop loss order to 101.10 in place of 99.50 & 101.00 for 99.40. If price keeps going up, keep following the price by modification.
Always remember the following rule.
For buy’s Stop Loss Order (Type=Sell) “Trigger Price” should be more than “Price” of Stop Loss Order & for Short Selling’s Stop Loss Order (Type=Buy) “Trigger Price” should be less than “Price” of Stop Loss Order.
Important Note:
Some Trading Systems allow Trader to enter Stop Loss Order at the time of Actual Order and some Systems allow Stop Loss Order to get automatically cancelled against squaring off position.

In India big companies have come and they are entering all the fields. They have opened even eating houses, general merchant market and even ration shops have been established by the big companies. They are deploying people and it is an accepted thing that they are supplying the customers better items and items of good quality and at the same time they are supplying to their customers items at cheaper rate because they believe in big sale and they know that when there is sale of on large scale, they shall earn profits. These shops are being established in each town and people are being attracted to these shops.
The small shopkeepers had their time and they were not meeting all the demands of the people and since they had been giving to the customers articles at credit, the people who became customers once, they were not in a position to leave those shopkeepers and go another shop. Once a debtor always a debtor and now the people are understanding that they shall be having more benefits if they purchase items of their daily use at cash system. It seems the people who are small shopkeeper and who are running small enterprisers shall be joining these big shopkeepers as sales men, as stock holders or the like and in due course all establishments shall be working on behalf of these big industrialists and commercial establishments. Only the people expert in the line of economics could tell us whether this system shall be beneficial for the people or it shall bring more unemployment and more poverty. A common man shall not be able to tell about this coming period.
As far as India is concerned, they had been indulging in small enterprisers and even Mahatma Gandhi had been in favour of small industries and when we are now in open market facing challenges from all the sides, we shall have to enter big industries because these small units shall not be able to compete with industrial and commercial establishments. The experts in India must take up this matter and must see that what we do that should be in the interest of our people who are mostly illiterate, untrained and non-experts. They are not in a position to enter this competitive market which is coming into being in this country. These big establishments shall not engaging these illiterate and untrained people and there are chances that unemployment shall become a new problems for us. These unemployed people shall be creating more troubles for the people and India shall become a disturbed country. Therefore, the state must think over this matter once again before they are allowing these big industrialists and commercial units to enter the common market with is presently in hands of small enterprisers.

The message was very powerful. Let me share with you what I
learned.
Take out a piece of paper and a pen or pencil. Write down 5
things that you desire in your life. It can be a car—mine is a
red BMW convertible and I have a picture of it on my dream board
and look at it everyday while I say affirmations in my energy
circle. Of course, in my visualization the real George Clooney
is in the passenger seat, not my cardboard cutout of George that
a friend gave me.
Maybe you want a new house, a trip to Hawaii, thousands of
dollars, a new outfit as you achieve your ideal weight. Whatever
it is, write down 5 things.
Say the statements out loud, shout them and do the visualization
hiney dance to them. I do love shaking it. I read a cute quote
the other day….what if the hokey pokey is what it’s all about?

BMW convertible!! Now, is that synchronicity or what? You know
what I should have done? Jumped out in front of that car and
made the driver get out and give me her car. Ooooppps…wrong
vibration. The focus is higher vibration and manifesting it
through Divine means. See the difference in vibration levels.
I will manifest that car. I don’t know how it will come; I just
know it will. I only know why I desire it. I like the feeling
that it conjures up….the feeling of freedom, sex appeal,
youthfulness, being a hottie!
We’ve all experienced times throughout the day where we have a
lull….where our energy is low or flat. What we want to do is to
keep that vibration high so we constantly are aligned with the
energy that we’re pulling to us. When we are in a low or flat
vibration, those things we desire can’t be propelled to us
because our thoughts are creating a disconnection. When our
thoughts are creating and saying, “Yes, I am attracting a red
BMW convertible” then we keep the energy lines open and that car
will reveal itself.
It’s like that phone commercial, “Can you hear me now?” When
we’re in low vibration, that which we want to attract cannot
hear us. Guess what shows up? Everything we don’t want. Now,
when we’re in high vibration, the reception is great and we get
heard loud and clear. All that we desire flows easily to us.
Let’s practice. We’ll name these the High 5. Get it? 5 things
that will manifest at a High vibration. I just made that up and
I believe it’s extremely clever. Read those statements and
dance, dance, dance!!
Now, you’re going to be carrying that list with you throughout
the day and take it out and do the routine of saying the
statements out loud with enthusiasm. Do this several times
throughout the day and notice how your energy will remain at a
high vibration. I encourage you to get carried away and shake,
shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake your booty while saying
them. Now say them over and over and really put some feeling
into it. I know you can do it!
I’ve had a practice of doing this type of visualization in the
morning and at night while reading those things that I am
manifesting in my life. I had noticed that I was experiencing
some lulls in my energy during the day, and was grateful to hear
this Divine message on how to sustain the high energy throughout
the day. I’ve been doing this a few days since I heard this on
the teleseminar and I’ve seen remarkable results. We were told
to make a commitment to ourselves and make it a goal for 30
days. I encourage you to do the same. For 30 days take time to
shout the High 5′s throughout the day. I look forward to hearing
about your results.
God is AWESOME! I am shouting that statement from my office
window right now. I just opened the window and shouted it so
everyone could hear. Oh, the birds just flew away. They’ll be
back….I have a bird feeder.
We’re on fire!! Nothing can stop us!!

Rodney Crowell Outsider Rock Music CD Review
The exceptionally talented Rock artist Rodney Crowell has released him CD entitled Outsider. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Rodney Crowell fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Outsider Rodney Crowell’s artistic excellence is on full display as Crowell has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.
Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Rodney Crowell possesses the characteristic of being able to win you over with him talent alone. The kind of artist I really enjoy listening to.
Listen to Outsider and I believe you’ll find there’s not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Rodney Crowell is clearly in top form. So much so that if you’re even mildly into Rock music you’ll enjoy this album.
While the entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 6 – Don’t Get Me Started, track 9 – Things That Go Bump In The Day, and track 11 – We Can’t Turn Back.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Say You Love Me. It’s a great track!

Mum’s Big Idea for Tiny Babies
A Busy mum has set up a business to help the parents of premature babies. Mum of one Sharon Ward, 36, set up Teddy & Me whilst juggling the care of four-year-old son Louis and working in a warehouse until 11pm.
The Kenilworth based business has taken off and Sharon is already winning praise – she has been nominated for Yell.com’s Inspirational Business Mum of the year award.
Sharon said: “The idea came about through my involvement with the charity ADAPT, which supports the parents of premature babies in neonatal units.” “I realised there was a lack of suitable, well fitting clothing available and wanted to help alleviate the problem.” “I initially thought I would be able to buy clothes from a manufacturer and sell them but I couldn’t find anyone making them.”
“So with the support of a pattern maker and my husband Jon, plus help and advice from paediatricians, neonatal specialists and parents, I designed them myself and had them manufactured at a factory in the Midlands”
The tiny outfits, which start at 400grams, take into consideration any tubes/drips and monitors the babies may have attached, whist offering maximum comfort and ease of dressing. Sharon also wanted to help the many parents who lose their babies to prematurity and stillbirth, by creating resting garments for babies weighing less than 3.5kg (8lbs).
A spokes women from the awards said: “The award recognises the commitment, energy, drive and determination of business mums and the specific challenges they face combining entrepreneurship with motherhood.” Finalists will be notified at the end of May.
